ECF will be partnership with SOS Illinois to assemble kits full of toys and goodies for kids in foster care.
ECF will also be assembling adult essential kits for donation to Night Ministry Chicago.
ECF is sponsoring a home repair and improvement project through Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago. Volunteers will upgrade the house and create a safer environment for the homeowner to live in.

Humble Design serves families emerging from homelessness by transforming empty houses into welcoming homes using donated furniture and household goods. ECF will be joining Humble Design to furnish hope and a home for a family.

Join Epstein Community Foundation as we host our 3rd Annual Virtual 5K! Open to all who wish to participate, ECF’s Turkey Trot will be a virtual 5K run/walk on November 24th - 27th utilizing the JustMove virtual “live” racing application.
All proceeds from this year’s race will go to providing new fleece blankets to support Chi Town Blankets, a non-profit that collects, makes, and donates blankets to those who need them in the Chicagoland area.

ECF is assembling school supply kits to distribute to children from low-income families through Back 2 School Illinois.
ECF is teaming with Open Books to build home libraries for under-resourced Chicago children. The books will be distributed to Chicago kids in under-resourced communities through CPS meal distribution and community partners.

ECF is teaming with Ronald McDonald House’s Culinary Hearts program to prepare a warm, home-cooked meal for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House near Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
ECF will be competing in Open Books’ Make The Case, Chicago’s famous bookcase decorating competition. Each decorated bookcase will be stocked with hand-selected, high-quality, age appropriate books and donated to a classroom or nonprofit partner in Chicago.

ECF is spreading a love of reading by being a Book Buddy for the Sun-Times Charity Trust’s new program, Chicago Reads. Through this brand new program, ECF will provide Chicagoland students with their very own books to take home for the summer.
